Bushfire sky

 The bush fires in the area are many miles away from us but they still have an impact on our sunsets and the view from my windows.  Yesterday they had a far more devastating impact on our community when a young man who lived in our town  along with a young woman from another small community were killed in an accident while fighting the fires.

 Everywhere I look there are butterflies dancing through the air or supping from the flowers.

Some of our nocturnal visitors aren't quite as pretty.

and there are hitchhikers coming in from the vegetable garden.
